Better Together

Coming together to talk about the hard stuff and strengthen our adoption constellation connections.

Better Together is a weekly group consultation of adoptive parents, adult adoptees, and birth parents. Astrid facilitates the main discussion and then we break out into affinity groups for an additional 20-30 minutes. (Joining the break out rooms is optional.)

Required:
Adoptive parents interested in attending must have previously completed one or more of our Conscious Adoption: Adoptive Parent Education Courses.

Mondays: from 5:30-6:30pm PT/8:30-9:30pm ET on Zoom

Thursdays: from 10-11am PT/1-2pm ET on Zoom

Cost: $100/month, $500/6 months, $900/12 months*

What are the Benefits of Better Together?

  1. Weekly Zoom meetings with Astrid and other adoption constellation members every month.
  2. A COMMUNITY of value-aligned adoptive parents, adult adoptees, and other constellation members who are ready to “roll up their sleeves” and listen and learn to unpack the tough conversations surrounding adoption. Parents who are working through similar challenges can collectively offer a sense of camaraderie as we discuss similar questions, doubts, fears, successes, and more.
  3. We feature a guest speaker the last Thursday of each month. These guests are usually adoption professionals, adoptees, and folks with lived experience who we are in community with. Once they’ve been a guest, they are invited to attend based on availability. If you are an adoptee and are interested in being featured, please contact us!

We charge a $100/month fee for all non-adoptees to attend. Compared to our hourly rate for our consultations ($150/hour) this breaks down to about $25/hour+ meeting.
